Terminator 6 Grabs Wonder Woman 2's Release Date

It looks like we're going to get to see Terminator 6 a little sooner than previously expected. Paramount Pictures had decided to move up the release date for the next entry in the long-running sci-fi franchise. The move comes not long after Warner Bros. announced that they have delayed Wonder Woman 1984 to June 2020. That freed up that movie's old 2019 release date, which more than one studio was quick to jump on. It's now going to be a showdown between Sarah Connor and Charlie's Angels.

Wonder Woman 1984 had previously been scheduled to arrive on November 1, 2019. Warner Bros. instead decided to shift the sequel to last year's breakaway hit to summer 2020, which could prove to be more lucrative. That prompted Paramount to, once again, move Terminator 6, which will now open on that November 1, 2019, date. Sony, in a similar move, shifted their Charlie's Angels reboot, which comes from director Elizabeth Banks, to that same date.

Charlie's Angels Reboot Takes Old Wonder Woman 1984 Release Date

The upcoming Charlie's Angels reboot has secured a new, possibly much better, release date. Sony is behind the reboot, which is based on the 1970s TV series of the same name. The studio has announced that they have shifted the movie back by more than a month. Not necessarily because there are any issues to be concerned about, but simply because an opportunity has presented itself that may be too good to pass up.

Warner Bros. recently decided to bump back the release date of their highly-anticipated sequel Wonder Woman 1984 rather significantly, shifting it to June 5, 2020. That left the old November 1, 2019 date wide open, which Sony was quick to scoop up and give to Charlie's Angels. This was probably a smart move for both studios and those who were upset that the Wonder Woman sequel got delayed will have another female-fronted action movie to enjoy on the very same day,

‘Terminator 6’ and ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Set the Same November 2019 Release Date

After yesterday's news that Warner Bros. had shifted the release date of Wonder Woman 1984 back to a Summer 2020 release, leaving a vacuum in the early November 2019 calendar, it now seems that not one but two big-screen reboots have set their sights on the vacant date. The Wonder Woman sequel was previously set for a November 1, 2019 debut, a date that will now see Paramount's currently untitled Terminator picture battling alongside Sony's Charlie's Angels reboot. The sixth Terminator flick actually moves up two weeks on the calendar as it had previously been …

'Terminator,' 'Charlie's Angels' Pounce on Old 'Wonder Woman 1984' Release Date

Monday's announcement that Warner Bros. is relocating Wonder Woman 1984 from Nov. 1, 2019, to June 5, 2020, has prompted release date changes for two other high-profile projects that will now face off against each other.

Late Monday evening, Sony said it is moving its Charlie's Angels reboot from Sept. 27, 2019, to Wonder Woman 1984's old date of Nov. 1.

That was followed by Paramount's announcement Tuesday morning that it will now open its untitled Terminator project on Nov. 1 as well, instead of two weeks later on Nov. 15.

The two projects, which arguably won't compete ...

13 Reboots That Ruined Everything

  • TVfanatic
There is no shame in taking inspiration from another person's work or even taking a dated version of it and giving it a fresh, contemporary spin. Yet, they say lightning never strikes the same place twice, and that couldn't have been truer for these shows that failed to build on the foundation laid by the shows which they are drawn directly from.

We have had a few success stories but reboots have been, for the most part, huge disappointments, both to the audience and to the stars and networks that toiled to put them on our screens.

New Charlie's Angels Set Photos Have Kristen Stewart Charging Into Action

New Charlie's Angels Set Photos Have Kristen Stewart Charging Into Action
Kristen Stewart's character has been spotted on the Charlie's Angels reboot set. Production on the movie started recently, and these are the second batch of photos to leak. Elizabeth Banks is behind the camera for the reboot, which will also see the director in front of the camera as Bosley, alongside Patrick Stewart, and Djimon Hounsou, who are also playing different versions of the character. Bosley was played by one actor on the original Charlie's Angels TV series and previous two films.

In the latest Charlie's Angels set images, Kristen Stewart is shown with a handgun in hot pursuit. The actress recently talked about the reboot and called it "woke" and "well-intentioned." Aside from the action shots of Stewart, she's also seen hanging out, taking a break in between takes and hiding her weapon. None of the other angels are seen in these particular images from the reboot to leak.

"Charlie's Angels" - Leaked Set Images

  • SneakPeek
Take a look at new leaked set images of actress Kristen Stewart in action on Sony's upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot, co-starring Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska , as "beautiful girls who live dangerously as private investigators", for director Elizabeth Banks, currently shooting in Hamburg, Germany, targeting a September 27, 2019 theatrical release:

"...in the original series, 'Sabrina Duncan', 'Jill Munroe' and 'Kelly Garrett' have all graduated from the police academy in Los Angeles, California.

"Despite proving their capability during training, all three have subsequently been assigned to be a meter maid, office worker and crossing guard, respectively.

"Dissatisfied with these jobs, they are recruited to work for the 'Charles Townsend Agency' as private investigators.

"Their boss, 'Charles (Charlie) Townsend', who nicknames them 'Angels', is never seen full-face, but is often seen from the back, mostly in the company of beautiful women.

Aladdin Remake Trailer Arrives and It's Magical

Disney has released the first trailer for their live-action remake of Aladdin. Will Smith just recently revealed the first poster for the upcoming reimagining online and we assumed that meant the trailer wouldn't be far behind. We just didn't know it would be this soon. Disney decided to unveil the trailer during Thursday Night Football as the Philadelphia Eagles went up against the New York Giants. But primetime belongs to Disney tonight.

This gives us our first footage from Disney's latest live-action remake of one of their animated classics. Strangely, and somewhat frustratingly, we didn't get our first taste of Will Smith as the Genie. The role originated with the late great and, frankly, irreplaceable Robin Williams in the original 1992 animated classic. Will fans be kind to Smith's new take? We'll have to wait and see. That's going to be a tough hill to climb, but one would be hard-pressed

Secret Six TV Series in Development

Mike Cecchini Oct 11, 2018

The good news? DC's brilliant Secret Six is getting made into a TV series. The bad news? It's gonna be on CBS.

There's a Secret Six TV series in the works. Rick Muirragui (Suits) is writing a pilot for the Secret Six TV show, and if it goes forward, it will air on CBS.

The synopsis for the shows (via Variety) says it's about "six morally ambiguous strangers, each with their own unique specialties and secret pasts, who are brought together by an enigmatic figure who blackmails them into working as a team to expose the corruption of the corporate and political elite."

The Six are sent on their missions by the mysterious "Mockingbird." Kind of like Charlie from Charlie's Angels. The catch is that Mockingbird is probably a member of the team, and nobody knows who it might be.

CBS has worked on DC Comics projects before,

Disney's Aladdin Remake Poster Magically Appears on Will Smith's Instagram

The first poster for Disney's live-action Aladdin remake has been revealed. Disney has had a ridiculous amount of success revisiting some of their animated classics and reimagining them in live-action for modern audiences in recent years. One of the next movies up on that front is Aladdin, which hits theaters next summer and now, we finally have our first look at what to expect and, though it's really just a tease, it's sure to make fans of the original excited.

Will Smith, who has the dubious honor of playing Genie in this version, took to Instagram to reveal the poster. It features the infamous magic lamp at the center of the 1992 original, with a familiar shade of blue emanating from it. The title of the movie isn't even featured on the poster. Instead, it simply features the words "choose wisely" at the bottom and teases the May 2019 release. The title isn't necessary,
