Not the best of the series
5 March 2015 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

It is, I would say, a flat episode. Tepid story, little suspense, the usual corny tale of a murder case. A beautiful girl is killed by a mysterious assassin and our lead investigate. Except the presence of John Payne and Broderick - machine gun talking - Crawford as guest stars - nothing worth here. Nothing specific for this crime western TV show. Directed by Jo Pevney, the famous director who made so many movies for Universal studios, westerns, adventure, dramas, many of them starring Jeff Chandler. Back to this episode, you could see this kind of scheme in thousands of other episodes all over the decades. Forget it.
