This episode of the series takes a look at the rather crazy life of Clara Bow, the 1920s actress who at one time was the highest paid but her troubled past would eventually catch up with her. Countless awful rumors about the actress cost her the career she always wanted and these rumors would continue to haunt her decades after her death.
This episode really benefits from some great interviews including film historian Rudy Behlmer, A.C. Lyles, Anita Page, Budd Schulberg and Clara's oldest son. Considering we have someone who personally knew Clara and the man who she gave her final interview to, there's a lot of great stuff here and it's just amazing how raunchy the media got with her back in the day. The Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle case is probably the most notorious from this era but what happened to Bow wasn't much better.
